Levy Real Estate, a leading London-based property consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Sharman as its next Managing Partner, effective 1st September 2025. He will succeed Simon Higgins, who steps down after nine years of exceptional leadership that saw the firm navigate significant market challenges whilst achieving substantial growth in both scale and performance.

Founded in 1938, Levy Real Estate has a proud legacy of leadership and innovation in London’s property market. With a team of 40 professionals, the firm delivers expert consultancy services across capital markets, leasing, building consultancy, lease advisory, valuation, and property management. The firm remains on a strong growth trajectory, with several strategic hires and service expansions planned in the coming months.

Matt will become only the fifth Managing Partner in the firm’s 87-year history and alongside his new responsibilities, will continue to lead the Residential team. Since joining Levy in 2011, Matt has been instrumental in driving the growth of the firm’s residential division and is widely recognised as a leading advisor and broker. Simon will remain an equity partner, focusing on Agency and Capital Markets, providing continuity in the firm’s senior leadership.

Simon Higgins commented: “Matt is an excellent choice to take Levy Real Estate forward. He is an extremely capable individual and brings energy, commitment, and vision to the role. The property world is moving at pace and it’s important that we continue to be at the forefront. It’s been a privilege to lead the business through nearly a decade of sustained growth, and I look forward to supporting Matt and the wider team as we enter this exciting new chapter.”

**Matt Sharman commented: “It is both hugely exciting and a great privilege to be appointed Managing Partner of a firm I’ve grown with and deeply believe in. Levy Real Estate is defined by its people; talented, committed professionals who share a passion for excellence and a culture of success. That culture has flourished under Simon’s leadership and I’m enormously grateful for his guidance and support and look forward to working closely with Simon and the wider leadership team; Simon Tann, Jeremy Grundy, David Apthorp, Matt Paulson Ellis, and Rob Smith as we continue to build on our strong foundations and provide a best-in-class service to our clients.”
