TV Studio Acquisition Programme – Garden Campus Ltd

During the spring of 2020, Levy Real Estate were introduced to the Arts Alliance by one of our existing clients Procam TV. At the time, the Arts Alliance team had been actively searching for space to create a TV studio in West London.
The concept behind the Garden Campus TV Studios was a speculative business plan that relied on pent up demand from those in the TV industry who required studio space in London.
In December 2020 we negotiated a lease for 62,000 sqft from Aviva Investors in two buildings, Rock and Roll Waxlow Road in March 21 we acquired a further lease for 64,000 sqft in two buildings opposite and four units on Townsend industrial Estate all from BlackRock Investors. GCL currently occupy a total of 150,000 sqft of built space. During the summer of 2021 we also agreed a lease for a 1.2 acre site from FM Conway at the end of Waxlow Road and agreed the freehold purchase of a 0.75 acre site at 13 Waxlow Road.
Garden Campus Ltd have fitted out the buildings to provide 3 sound stages and a virtual production stage with work shops and production offices they are now open for business and all the studio space booked out having signed multiple deals with leading media production business.
We continue to advise Garden Campus Ltd and are working closely with the management team to review further options to scale up the studio campus.
